WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY FIRST CLASS?
You’ll want to arrive about 15 minutes before class time, hydrated and ready to sweat! We have towels and filtered water available for free in studio. For cycling classes, you are in control of how much resistance you ride with and will get stronger with every class you take. For Train, Fight, and Sculpt Classes, you will be able to connect with your coach and start at an appropriate level. All of our classes are beginner accessible and we are a judgement-free zone.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
You can park anywhere in the Barracks Road Shopping Center parking lot (including the lot adjacent to Harris Teeter/OTF) or on Arlington Blvd. in front of the studio.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear comfortable clothes designed for exercise. For cycling, you will moving off and on the bike seat, so skip baggy bottoms. Fitted biking shorts or leggings are perfect. For train, fight, and sculpt classes, any athletic attire is appropriate as well as athletic shoes that you designate for inside use only.
DO I NEED SPECIAL SHOES?
On the cycle side, to provide a safer and more effective workout, we use specialized cycling shoes that clip in to the bike at Zoom. We have rental shoes available in all sizes for a fee of $2 cash ($2.75 account charge) per class. For those bringing your own shoes, our bikes are compatible with SPD and Look Delta cleats. Finally, we also offer Giro and Tiem cycle shoes for sale, and if we don’t have your size in stock, shoe rental is free until they arrive. For the train and sculpt side, regular athletic sneakers are appropriate for class, just make sure they are clean and preferably shoes you wear inside only.
